Overview

BitBuddy is a local-first AI companion for personal computing. This policy explains what data BitBuddy may use, how it is used, and how to contact us about privacy requests.

Google Account Data

BitBuddy may request access to Google account data only after user authorization. BitBuddy may use approved Google data such as Gmail and Calendar data to provide mail, calendar, memory, project, and companion features.

BitBuddy does not sell Google user data. BitBuddy does not use Google user data for advertising.

Users can revoke access through their Google Account permissions. Users can request deletion by contacting support at [email protected].

Data Use

BitBuddy uses authorized data to provide product functionality, including companion responses, reminders, memory, project continuity, calendar context, mail context, and user-requested automation.

BitBuddy is designed around user control. Access to external accounts should be authorized by the user and can be revoked by the user.

Data Sharing

BitBuddy does not sell personal data. BitBuddy does not sell Google user data. BitBuddy does not use Google user data for advertising.

Data may be processed only as needed to provide requested product features, comply with legal obligations, protect security, or operate services chosen by the user.
